This weekend, many events are slated to take place across southwest Ohio, including festivals, concerts and film screenings. Here’s a look at what’s happening.
BUTLER COUNTY
FiveStar Comic Con Middletown: 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 4200 N. University Blvd., Middletown. More info: After Dayton’s FiveStar Comic Con earlier this summer, the event is coming to Miami University Middletown’s Johnston Hall. There will be cosplay contests, panels, vendors and more.
Hamilton Hispanic Festival: 2-9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 116 Dayton St., Hamilton. More info: Sept. 15 marks the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, and to celebrate, Hamilton will host a festival featuring live performances, dance lessons, food and art vendors, a parade and more.
‘Wicked: For Good’ screening at Trenton Community Park: 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 440 Dell Drive., Trenton. More info: For its final Movies in the Park event for 2026, the city of Trenton will host a free screening of “Wicked: For Good.” Before the movie begins at 8 p.m., there will be various activities such as meet and greets with Elphaba and Glinda, a bubble truck and potion making.
CHAMPAIGN COUNTY
Pony Wagon Days Festival: Sept. 10-13 in St. Paris. More info: The annual Pony Wagon Days Festival, celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, will feature craft and food vendors, a DJ, axe throwing, a pizza eating contest and more. A car show will also be held noon-5 p.m. on Sunday.
Mid-Eastern Regional Fly-in and Car Show: 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1636 N. Main St., Urbana. More info: To be held at the Grimes Municipal Airport, this event will feature “an incredible display of regional aircraft and classic, custom and muscle cars.” There will also be local vendors, a children’s activity area and other offerings. This event is free for spectators.
CLINTON COUNTY
End of Summer Bash: 5-8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at 123 Gano Road, Wilmington. More info: Hundreds of fireworks, drones and other effects will be used to light up the sky during the upcoming summer send-off show from Ralph’s American Grill. Live music will also be performed and food trucks will be on site.
CLARK COUNTY
Wufffstock: 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept 12 at 1900 Park St., Springfield. More info: The National Trail Parks and Recreation District will celebrate the area’s canine friends with Wuffstock, an event set to offer various food trucks, pet-friendly vendors, music and more. Guests can also learn about local animal services, take part in a pet remembrance ceremony and check out a show from the Performance Dogs of Ohio.
MustardFest: 1-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 21 Mill Run Place, Springfield. More info: Food eating contests, wiener dog races, steinholding competitions and more will be held during Springfield’s mustard-themed festival, set to take place at National Road Commons Park.
GREENE COUNTY
Beavercreek Popcorn Festival: Sept. 12-13 on Dayton-Xenia Road in Beavercreek. More info: Beavercreek’s annual Popcorn Festival will feature various food and craft vendors, a car show, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, a 5k and more.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Re-swap!: 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 2910 Trebein Road, Fairborn. More info: Free household items, clothing and more will be available during Greene County Parks and Trail’s upcoming swap event at Hobson Freedom Park. Guests are encouraged to bring their own items to donate. Those who also bring canned goods will get free hotdogs, chips and drinks, while supplies last. Educational workshops will be held in the park’s shelter house.
MIAMI COUNTY
The Autumn MadeWell Market: Sept. 12-13 at 1865 S. County Road 25A, Troy. More info: Food trucks and vendors selling various fall-themed items will be attending the MadeWell Market at the WACO Education Center and Air Museum. Several ticket types are available, each providing access to the market at different times. Admission is free from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, and children age 12 and under get in free all weekend.
Troy Porchfest: 10:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 301 W. Main St., Troy. More info: During the upcoming Troy Porchfest, 40 bands will be performing on 40 porches across Troy’s Southwest Historic District. The event will kick off with a performance from the Troy High School Marching Band. Food trucks and craft vendors will also be attending the event.
MONTGOMERY COUNTY
Walnut Hills Farm Bluegrass Festival: Sept. 11-12 at 9085 Adams Road, Huber Heights. More info: My Brother’s Keeper, NewFound Road, The Lonesome River Band and more will perform at the Walnut Hills Farm Bluegrass Festival. Food trucks will also attend the event.
Dayton Greek Festival: Sept. 11-13 at 500 Belmonte Park N., Dayton. More info: The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Dayton will celebrate Greek culture and heritage with its annual Greek Festival, featuring music, food and entertainment inspired by the country.
Italian Fall Festa: Sept. 11-13 at 2625 County Line Road, Kettering. More info: The 49th annual Italian Fall Festa will have a variety of Italian-inspired dishes available alongside live music, bocce ball and other offerings.
Joanne Shaw Taylor at the Levitt Pavilion: 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at 134 S. Main St., Dayton. More info: Blues and rock musician Joanne Shaw Taylor will be performing a free concert at the Levitt Pavilion in downtown Dayton, as part of the park’s Eichelberger Concert Season.
Dayton Block Party: 3-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 313 Linden Ave., Dayton. More info: Over 70 vendors are scheduled to attend the upcoming block party at the former Hewitt Soap Factory building. The event will also offer live music, a car cruise-in, food and more.
Full Moon Market: Vulcan’s Ember: 4-11 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 319 S. Second St., Miamisburg. More info: Named after the Roman god of fire and metalworking, Full Moon Market’s next event will feature local vendors selling crafts, art and other offerings, as well as food and drink options themed to the deity.
WARREN COUNTY
Waynesville Street Faire: 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 in downtown Waynesville. More info: The last of Waynesville’s monthly summer markets will be held this weekend. During the event, various vendors, artisans and crafters will be selling their items throughout the historic downtown district. Various children’s activities will also be offered, and live music will be performed.

Balloon Glow Spectacular: 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12 at 665 N. Broadway St., Lebanon. More info: Numerous hot air balloons will float just above the ground during Warren County Fairgrounds’ upcoming balloon glow. There will also be food trucks, vendors and other activities. This event is weather dependent.
