Tributes have been paid to a “much-loved and deeply respected” woman who was “exceptional at her job and admired by everyone who worked with her” after she was killed in a helicopter crash alongside her husband while they were on honeymoon in Greece.Marie Ebert and her husband Alex Cromie died with their pilot, Giorgos Raikos, when the private helicopter crashed and sparked a fire in the Tholos area of the Aegean island Sifnos.Ms Ebert’s employers at Bain & Company said they were “devastated” by the news of her death, while Mr Cromie’s firm Blackstone said he was “beloved by everyone who knew and worked with him”.
