Megaron in Northern Evia The Limni Festival Evanthia Reboutsika

For the fifth consecutive year, Megaron the Athens Concert Hall brings music and culture to Northern Evia, with an enriched and more multi-faceted programme than ever, comprising 14 events — concerts, festivals and educational programmes — with free admission for the public.

Evanthia Reboutsika is one of the most significant and recognisable voices in contemporary Greek music — a composer who has built an entirely distinctive world of her own, recognisable from the very first notes. Her melodies touch listeners directly and deeply, without unnecessary ornamentation, with a rare sincerity. From A Touch of Spice — the work that brought her to a wide audience — to the musical traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean that run through the whole of her output, Reboutsika moves between worlds with the ease of someone who belongs everywhere and nowhere in particular.

At Skala Limnis, against a backdrop of sea and night, she invites us on a musical journey that promises to move us — together with Sofia Zova, one of the most expressive voices of the younger generation.

The concert is dedicated to the memory of Yiannis Alexiou

The programme is funded by the Ministry of Culture and carried out in collaboration with the Municipality of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna, in Mantoudi, Prokopi, Limni, Agia Anna and Rovies.
