Giorgos Tsalikis at Let’s Go Greek Festival Parramatta – The Greek Herald

Greek music star Giorgos Tsalikis will bring some of his biggest hits to Western Sydney when he headlines Let’s Go Greek Festival Parramatta this September.

Tsalikis will perform alongside his band, travelling from Greece for the popular community festival at St Ioannis Greek Orthodox Church on Sunday, September 13.

Known for hits including To Ravasaki, Eimai Mia Hara and Apagorevmeno, the singer has remained a popular figure in Greece’s live entertainment scene throughout a career spanning more than two decades.

His headline performance will transform the Parramatta festival into an open-air Greek concert, with audiences invited to sing and dance along to his well-known songs.

Tsalikis will lead a packed entertainment program also featuring local musicians, DJs and traditional Greek dancing throughout the day.

Beyond the main stage, festival-goers can enjoy Greek favourites including sizzling souvlakia, slow-roasted meats, seafood, traditional sweets and freshly made loukoumades.

An agora-style marketplace will feature stalls offering products, gifts and cultural items, while carnival rides, face painting and children’s activities will keep younger visitors entertained.

Let’s Go Greek Festival has become a fixture on Western Sydney’s cultural calendar, attracting families and visitors from across the region for a celebration of Greek culture, music and hospitality.

This year, Tsalikis’ headline performance is expected to be one of the festival’s major drawcards, bringing the energy of Greece’s live music scene to the heart of Parramatta.
