Expect plenty of “Opa!”, circles forming for the Zorba, tables laden with Greek favourites and a dancefloor that’s likely to get busier as the night rolls on. Whether you’re already well-versed in the art of Greek dancing or you’re simply keen to have a go, these evenings are all about coming together, eating well and enjoying a little bit of revelry.
It’s a fitting extension of what Mav’s does best: bringing people around the table. The restaurant has built a reputation not only for its generous hospitality and award-winning food, but for creating a space where the local community can gather, celebrate and enjoy a taste of Greek culture.
There’s plenty to celebrate, too. The restaurant recently added to their credentials, named the 2026 AGFG Readers’ Choice Winner, and are finalists in the 2026 Restaurant and Catering Association State Excellence Awards in three categories: European Restaurant, Family Dining, and Speciality Restaurant.
