A new leg of the Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 soundtrack concert tour ‘A Painted Symphony’ has been announced for 2027, visiting Europe and North America.
Lorien Testard’s award-winning soundtrack for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was transformed into an orchestral concert for a brief French tour at the end of 2025 before a string of sold out European shows followed earlier this year.
Now organisers have confirmed a new world tour for ‘A Painted Symphony’. The huge run of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 shows will include a gig at London’s O2 Arena, making it the first time a dedicated video game soundtrack has taken over the iconic venue.
“Lorien Testard, Alice Duport-Percier and Orchestre Curieux will bring the adventure’s iconic themes to life in a spectacular live musical production created especially for the stage,” explains a press release. “Symphonic arrangements, rich orchestrations and the power of the solo voice offer a new interpretation of the original soundtrack, allowing audiences to rediscover the music that accompanied their journey through the world of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 in all its live grandeur.”
The London date will be the only UK stop of the tour, which will also visit Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Radio City Music Hall in New York and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. Check out the full list of dates below:

Speaking to NME earlier this year, composer and concert mastermind Lorien Testard explained why ‘A Painted Symphony’ doesn’t feature any in-game footage. “I don’t like gameplay footage at concert tours. For me, it’s important to be present with the musicians because it’s such an incredible moment of being together and experiencing something [as one].” He went on to say that he still found the success of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and its beloved soundtrack “overwhelming” but mostly there’s “a profound sense of joy” about what they’ve created.
In other news, sci-fi co-op puzzle game Orbitals launched for the Nintendo Switch 2 earlier this month and now the soundtrack is available on streaming and vinyl.
