That looks good. Made me hungry.
Next do a video about barley, millet, yam, potatoes, sweet potatoes, cassava, kudzu, corn, oat, rye, quinoa..
What are the ingredients please?
Too bad no recipe
May I ask how much water and flour did you use in cup? I want to make these now haha
THIS IS MAZA
I made these with a few alterations. They were quite good for something made so easily and quickly.
1. Used wheat flour instead
2. After cooking the "dough" I tossed it into a metal bowl to cool for 1-2 minutes
3. I wet my hands slightly when shaping them, which made them hold together a lot better
4. Gave my frying pan a quick rinse and pat dry
5. Heated up the pan, added very little olive oil and fried them gently for 1 minute on each side. This improved the textured imo, by giving them a little crust
I like this recipe a lot. Very quick, perhaps 8-10 minutes to make with a little practice. The taste and texture is a bit like the inside of a freshly baked bun/roll. Taste was fine too, not amazing but okay. What I really like is that they were not dry or hard like flat breads without a levening agent sometimes are. Also you don't have to worry whether they are cooked through and end up with dry bread. I realise using barley will change the texture, but I look forward to making these again and will continue to experiment. 😊
I wish you gave us the recipe…….
Edit: I know it's on the website but it took a while to find, I wish you just put it in the description
Cool video but would rather you disucssed the ingredients and what youre doing.
You can also make it with wheat. Did it yesterday. But I think, I will tripple the amount of honey next time. And a bit more salt.
Wtf does ancient greece has to do with western civilization 😒
Surprised they didnt have scurvy eating all these dang sweets
This guy cant stir or mix things together to save his life
Idk what if you baked them would it change it a bit the dip looked 💥 lit tho
I don't know of any other channel doing this.
Food is extremely important human experience. And these recipes connect us to ancient civilizations.
Please try to find Eastern recipes also
Not surprising you were 'meh' about the 'energy cakes'. The Spartans were Mad Proud about eating Bad Food & felt it made 'em more bad ass to get by on crappy tasting stuff, thinking that eating good tasting food was indulgent & made 'em soft – Glad I live in This era!
Huh didn't know that, nice. Love history
Looks like shit
Maza = Mass.
It's spelled the same way you spell Gaza. Really simple.
Matza??
Well this channel is just a copy paste of eating history.
History would also look very different if Jesus didn't feed the 5,000 with barley bread that day!
Sanskrit is older than Greece LOL
