SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – The countdown is on for one of Savannah’s largest and most popular celebrations of culture and faith at the 75th Annual Savannah Greek Festival October 8-10 at the St. Paul’s Greek Orthodox Church Hellenic Center.
The event includes a wide range of Greek specialty dishes from spanakopita to dolmades to baklava as well as Greek music and dancing and a market with oils, cheese and more imported from Greece.
There will be several new menu items for the 75th anniversary, including baklava cheesecake and a larger selection of Greek wins. There also will be no admission charged this year.
The festival will be from 11 am-9 pm each day and pick-up service is available with pre-ordering for lunch each day and for dinner on Thursday.
