A Dallas-based restaurant group is bringing a new concept to Uptown. Eliás Estiatorio is the newest concept from Lombardi Family Concepts.

Slated to open this winter, Eliás Estiatorio will occupy the former Yia Yia Mary’s Mediterranean Kitchen space at 4747 San Felipe St. Known locally for its Italian restaurant Lombardi Cucina Italiana, its Chinese restaurant Maison Chinoise, and its French restaurant Toulouse, Eliás will be a contemporary Greek restaurant with a Mediterranean influence.

Details are light, but diners can expect a restaurant focused on an “elevated yet approachable interpretation of classic Greek flavors” that utilizes seafood and seasonal ingredients, according to a release.

Lombardi is working with NDD Design-Build on the interior. The design takes inspiration from the Aegean coastline with details such as archways, wood tones, and textured finishes.

“When you go to the Mediterranean, people take time to enjoy life, food and each other,” Lombardi founder Alberto Lombardi said. “That was the inspiration for Eliás Estiatorio — to create a beautiful, energetic place where guests can relax, celebrate, and share a memorable meal together.”
