Going out of Athens on Virgin September 2025

My first visit there was in 1961 and was basically a crude ruins, I took my wife there on 50th anniversary cruise and was blown away by the size of Athens and how much work as gone into the acropolis area. The amount of excavation done was amazing. The museum with the see through glass floor was neat.

Maybe I missed it, but was that scaffolding/repairs you saw? Or did they have to install that framework as a skeleton of sorts to preserve the structural integrity?
