Hot off her handful of appearances at the 83rd Venice Film Festival, where her husband George Clooney was honoured with the prestigious Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement, Amal Clooney was pictured meeting with Greek President Konstantinos Tasoulas in Athens.
Human rights lawyer Clooney, who is a UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador, was in the Greek capital to discuss some of the challenges facing the organisation, and for her meeting with Tasoulas was dressed in head-to-toe terracotta, teaming an elegant pussy-bow blouse with a midi skirt and blazer.
Rich, warm, earthy tones like terracotta are perfect for autumn, when lemon yellows and soft-serve pinks are replaced by colours that better resemble foliage: burnt orange, chocolate brown and – perhaps the most popular of the bunch at this time of year – burgundy.
