Fall temps have arrived in Western Montana, and it at least feels like summer is over at the moment. That doesn’t mean it’s officially done, but for now, it at least feels like fall.
Here is the events guide for September.
Grizzly Football Home Games
The Montana Grizzlies have two home games at Washington-Grizzly Stadium this month. Montana vs. Drake on Saturday, September 5 at 1 pm and Montana vs. Utah Tech on Saturday, September 12 at 1 pm.
The game against Drake is “Stripe the Stadium” day, so make sure you wear the color your section was assigned.

Missoula Concerts
KettleHouse Amphitheater season is winding down, but we still have a handful of nights to enjoy out at the Amp. Here is September’s KettleHouse schedule:

ENCORE! An Artist-Designed Mini Golf Tournament
I love mini golf. It makes me feel like I can actually golf, when in reality, I cannot. It’s Open AIR’s annual fall fundraiser to “support creativity & community in MT.”
“Play an 18-hole artist-designed mini golf course! All day, enjoy a free music concert, beer & brat garden, family activities, and a silent auction,” on Sunday, September 13 from 10 am to 7 pm at Bonner Park.
Missoula Greekfest 2026
Celebrate Missoula Greekfest at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church from Friday, September 18 to Sunday, September 20.
There will be Greek food (pastries, baby!), Greek music, a Greek marketplace and much more.
Midtown 406K! Run
“Join the Missoula Midtown Association in the first annual Meet me in Midtown 406K! Run, walk or crawl through Playfair Park trail system on the 4.06K fun run course. The race starts in the heart of midtown behind the YMCA, hit the trail system, and then heads out towards Sentinel High School, the Butterfly House and the Fairgrounds. Upon finishing celebrate at our tailgate themed finish line with some fried chicken and ice cold beer!” – Missoulaevents.net
The Midtown 406K! Run takes place on Saturday, September 19 at 10 am.

Travel back in time to the Renaissance era at the Missoula Renaissance Festival on Saturday, September 19 at 10 am and Sunday, September 20 at 10 am.
