ASTEROMATA is Konstantinopoli, the emblem of Eastern Orthodox Greco-Roman Empire, a Star (God-Sun) atop of a Crescent Moon (Earth, as we are essentially one of Sun's "Moons" and "harmonise" around Him). Looks like a "Star-Eye", literally
Orthodox Patriarchy never used the "cross" as a symbol, it's considered "mockery to Jesus" and brutality.
They used the Double-headed Eagle (in yellow Font, while the Army in RED). and Asteromata on Domes and Coins.
Asteromata on top of Agia Sofia was visible from distance when at Sea, (hence she compares her-self as a Ship with hope as Sail, returning Home, to Orthodox Capital of the Planet. It's like if the Vatican was occupied by Muslims today and nobody could pray of visit properly, while it's your land, occupied by your enemy, who is mocking and destroying it while you are forced to watch…
Pontic Greeks, by geography are the last Survivors and the closest to Poli, so they have suffered the worst Genocide of human history for 100 years.
You are DEFINITELY one of the most beautiful women I ever saw, a "standard" ("φ") of classical beauty, a perfectly proportional face, everything on your face is sized and placed absolutely PERFECT. Mathematically, harmonically and vocally.
Anything a "little to the left, or up or down", would be a disaster compared to what you look now.
Glowing eyes, glowing skin, perfect colours, elegance at ease and natural… Hellene Muse
I don't do compliments, ever.
Your eye might have a nerve infection, especially if it affected the rest of your face muscles on that side. It's a 1-3 month treatment, but you need a specialised neurosurgeon to look after it and adjust accordingly.
Can you please react to BLEMI$ Archive – XRONOS? It is a very popular Greek song that needs vocal analysis
To me you are very beautiful❤Beautiful on the inside, not just on the outside.
Asteromata = "Star eyed woman" in Greek🙂
Lovely video, thanks girl! (Don’t listen to idiots 😊, I see a beautiful woman ). ❤
You are a lovely person. We love you from Greece ❤❤❤❤❤
The song reminds me of a traditional MOIROLÓI song, a purely musical narrative focusing on lamentation and funeral rituals.
Of course there could be no relevance to the Pontic Greek genocide, as a political message would disqualify the song from the competition.
This is a video about the events of the Greek, Armenian and Syrian genocides in Asia Minor, with the larger numbers motioned being more accurate:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVSyS0vTUII&t=703s
Interestingly during the WW1 massacres done by the Turks, there were German officers present as advisors and observers.
Only the Pontic Greeks killed on the Black Sea coast of Turkey are officially recognized by Greece as 353 000, with the rest of the Greeks, Armenians and Syrians, the total number reaches 2+ million people killed.
It is said that when Hitler was asked what would the world say about the extermination of the Jews, he replied : "Who remembers the Armenians".
Also there is a book, you can find free on Google, about the events of this period, written in 1922 by the US Councilman in Smyrna George Horton titled "The Blight of Asia".
Horton ends his book saying that the only memory he took from Smyrna, was the shame that he belonged to the human race.
You are beautiful
Nobody can put you down nobody
You are very beautiful not ugly at all. Please dont listen to hate comments.
Love from Greece❤
Excellent review/reaction but… find a way to watch the second semi-final and the finals performance. And re-make the video! Honestly 🙂
About the political thing, Ukraine got the grand prix twice i think with songs about rhe russian aggression but nobody was offended then
Even you don't understand the lyrics, you can feel the song. So, proud about her! No matter the Eurovision show and the first or the last place…
As a professional translator I can assure you that that was the best, more accurate and at the same time poetic rendition of the lyrics I've heard so far
Thank you for the excellent way you comment on the vocals and the musicality of this song. Just a few words for the visual effects (in the finals): the spiral is a most powerful symbol of the eternal cycles of life, from birth to infinity and back again to where it all started. The fiery road is the road of separation from the loved ones and from sweet motherland. The huge tree on fire refers to the savage destruction of 3000 years of Greek (pontic) civilization (1916-1923) and the Karyatis, well, she obviously mourns for her separation from her sisters and begs to return back where she belongs. Beginning in black (mourns), finale in starry white: as long as we live there is hope for justice and a bright future….
Thank you for the very professional analysis. It was also presented in a very elegant and feminine manner (in the best sense of the word).
So now we're confusing beauty with ugliness… huh…?!?
It is funny how these impuritites in one's skin (like this 'scab' of yours), turn a symmetrical & otherwise 'perfect', but dull face, into an asymmetrical & beautifully captivating, intriguing face – just like Asteromata's voice!
you are very beautifull and you have a sweat face so plz dont mind the morons who throw up their negativity sorry for my spealing greatings from Greece
Please watch the grand final performance! The staging is made like art and is full of symbolism and wonderfull visuals between the darkness and the light of hope that comes through at the end (Pretty sure you will love it!).
Her Vocals were awesome as usual there too. 🙂
