Greek football club Olympiacos lifted the UEFA Europa Conference League trophy this morning, courtesy of a goal late in extra-time from Ayoub El Kaabi against Fiorentina, sending fans into delirium.
Thousands gathered in the streets of Piraeus, where the team is from, to celebrate the win letting off flares and fireworks.
Those lucky enough to be in Athens to witness the win live also took to the streets celebrating and chanting.
Olympiacos’ triumph makes them the first Greek club side to ever win a European trophy.
