Konstantinos Argiros‘ latest album Kabanes has become the first Greek-language album to debut on the Billboard Top World Albums Chart at No. 12 and the first Greek-language album to debut on the Billboard Top Album Sales Chart at No. 31.
Since his recording debut in 2008, Argiros has captured hearts around the world. With five platinum-certified albums, over 450 million streams across music platforms and continuously sold out concerts, Argiros has more than cemented himself as one of the greatest modern Greek singers.
“This moment is much bigger than me. It’s a celebration of Greek music, our culture, and the timeless sounds of the Aegean. To see a Greek album reach this milestone fills me with immense pride, and I’m deeply grateful to everyone who believed in this journey,” Argiros said.
“My hope is that this is just the beginning, and that Greek music continues to reach new audiences around the world.”
Following the release of Kabanes, Argiros visited record stores across the United States and hosted meet-and-greets where over 10,000 fans gathered to see the singer. His international presence has also reached Australia where his recent tour included multiple sold out performances.
