Hans Zimmer surprises Raye at Greek Theatre LA: Watch

Hans Zimmer made a surprise appearance at Raye’s final US tour show. The German composer joined the British singer on stage at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 13, capping her 40-date ‘THIS TOUR MAY CONTAIN NEW MUSIC’ run with the live debut of their joint single ‘Click Clack Symphony’. Footage of the moment is already online.

Originally, the pair released ‘Click Clack Symphony’ in March 2026 as the third single from Raye’s second album ‘This Music May Contain Hope’. The Oscar-winning composer co-wrote and co-produced the track with Raye and her frequent collaborator Mike Sabath. The song’s percussion comes from the click-clack of high heels — and it became the first UK top-twenty single for Hans Zimmer.

At the Greek Theatre, Raye was introducing ‘Click Clack Symphony’ to the LA crowd when Zimmer walked out. First, she looked shocked. Then she told the audience she was “shaking” and went on to perform the song with him. The moment closed out the US leg of the tour she has been calling her most personal yet.

Also, the collaboration is part of a wider expansion for both artists. Hans Zimmer has been moving further into contemporary pop production through Bleeding Fingers Music, while Raye continues to lean into orchestral and cinematic arrangements across her second album.
