STEUBENVILLE, Ohio — Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Steubenville welcomed the community Monday for a fall festival featuring Greek food and desserts.
The food was offered for carryout orders, and organizers said the event was a way to connect with the community.
“This is a continuation of our festival that we normally do in the summer, that everybody’s familiar with,” parishioner Nicole Demitras said. “This is a lot of the food that we still needed to get rid of, and we’re just doing it. You know, the community loves the food, and it’s something, you know, all of us get together.”
The church also has other events planned before the end of the year, including a Veterans Day dinner and a gyro sale.
