UPDATE
The Greek is still open to this day! And has mostly positive reviews on Yelp and Trip Advisor.
Makis looks like if Harry ate hagrid 💀
Please tell me they aren’t still dancing.
8:49
I am not native Hawaiian, but I did grow up in Hawaii. That being said seeing that much water in the Humus is like putting too much water in the Poi. That is a cultural sin!
17:11 even Gordon is enjoying the show 😂
The father is built like a dwarf from snow white ngl
it's the writers that have worked the most for this show
Aris reminds me of Jairo from Bob's Burgers.
is Aris adopted?
HOPPAAA
Bro is it wild that 90% of Kitchen Nightmares are Greek or Italian.
The first sit-down Gordon had with the family was incredibly awkward. I don’t know if they edited out dialogue to make it seem like Makis didn’t say anything or if it really was that bad. Every question Gordon asked him, he just kind of shrugged and shook his head. 🫤
Amazing how an episode where people took what Gordon said to heart is an episode where the restaurant is still open to this day. All these people have to do is listen- though there are places that are clearly too roached even for his help to work. It being open 15+ years later is proof that it can be done.
I hate it when they don't use tasting spoons. Stop using your fingers..
It’s hard to believe it was his first time expediting, especially given the amount of diners, very impressive
I was so happy to read that this place is still open to this day! and Aris and the family are still all working there except the daughter who left to pursue a job in the medical field. So happy to hear it succeeded!
After watching so many of these this has to be the best father and son relationship so far.❤
16:46 I can’t with Gordon’s reaction 😂
Ah yes, the Greek Matt Mercer episode.
FINALLY SOMETHING EDIBLE!
They open a restaurant 2 feet from the water and think Greek?
mannnnn pouring your pasta sauce on top of plain noodles is seriously amateur.
I cried because of how genuinenly Aris pushed through.
Im watching this while in Greece 😅
I´m not greek, but I´m cooking greek food since +/- 20 years and have lots of recipes from a late chef in greece. Most of them he learnd from his grandmother, so some of the recipes are more than 100 years old. When I saw the Moussaka, my heart was going to cry. This is not a Moussaka, it´s a massacre. Where is the bechamel? Where is the kefalotyri which HAS to be on top, because that´s the only type of cheese you use for Moussaka. Tomatoe sauce on top of Moussaka? Are you kidding me? Chef Ramsay, if you need help with greek restaurants, count me in! But I´m honest, I´m not polite with chefs who messed up with cooking, because food it not just food. It´s culture identity and tradition, and messing up with it is (in my opinion) disrespekful against the people, who created the recipes long time ago.
I know this is all about family reunion, yey, but the son is HOT, despite the dancing
❤❤❤
Gordon trying too help this family please listing too Gordon.
blaming the son for not wanting to be trapped in a restaurant for the rest of his life at 20 years old and holding a grudge against him for years is crazy – here's a thought, maybe you should've said something to him when it happened rather than letting it fester for years! what a ridiculous episode
I lowkey want a Chiara face reveal….
(ALSO YESS YURI IN THE WILD!!)
Producers did the son dirty here wtf lol
This was an awesome episode, it's clear Gordon really spurred some change in their wellbeing as a family. The dad's little jig at 31:06 was awesome.
the calamari is…..shit! lol 😀
The waiter says sorry
Now thing I need to know is was the table chomp apart of the original airing of the show or is the owner of this channel the genius? 😂😂
