Greek pop star walks in Natasha Zinko’s SS27 show created with OnlyFans
Georgian-born Greek pop artist Tamta made her runway debut at London Fashion Week on Friday, 18 September, walking for designer Natasha Zinko’s SS27 show.
Tamta appeared in Zinko’s Pay Per View show, staged at Collins Music Hall in collaboration with OnlyFans. She joined a cast of artists and celebrities including Katie Price and The Sopranos star Drea De Matteo.
The show transformed the former theatre into an immersive performance space, exploring ideas around identity, self-presentation and the relationship between public and private life in an era of constant visibility and live streaming.
For her first runway appearance, Tamta wore a camel leather-effect two-piece.
“I’ve worn Natasha for years, so walking her show felt very natural, even though it was my first runway,” said Tamta. “There’s something in her visual language that feels deeply familiar to me growing up in Georgia, and that sense of recognition has always been part of my connection to her work.”
Zinko’s Pay Per View collection drew on concepts including surveillance and the panopticon, with the audience positioned as both observers and participants. References to fetishwear, workwear, uniforms, club culture and theatrical dressing were used to blur the lines between fashion, costume and character.
The collaboration with OnlyFans also explored themes of attention, self-presentation and the commercialisation of visibility.
Tamta will return to London on Friday, 9 October, for a headline performance at Colours Hoxton, where she will present a new live show combining music, fashion, movement and choreography alongside new material.
