The concert series sold out San Diego as well
Chris Tomlin brought his first-of-its-kind Worship Under The Stars concert series to a sold-out Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on Friday night. The concert made history with the first drone show ever at the iconic Greek Theatre. The history-making drone show illuminated the sky above Los Angeles, creating an unforgettable visual centerpiece for a concert designed to lift our eyes off ourselves, up toward Him, and be reminded of His goodness.
“When people think of Los Angeles … they think of looking up and seeing the Hollywood sign,” said Tomlin. “On Friday night, everyone looked up and saw JESUS SAVES shining high above the city… it was a powerful moment I will never forget.”
The 2026 series continued Saturday night at a packed Mesa Amphitheatre in Mesa, Arizona, followed by another history-making moment last night as Tomlin’s Worship Under the Stars not only sold out, but marked the first Christian music concert ever at The Rady Shell in San Diego.
“One of the things I love about worship is it causes us to lift our eyes off of ourselves for a minute… to remember the goodness of God, the greatness of God, and the power of God,” shares Tomlin. “Especially when we’re in His creation, and you see the beauty around you. You lift your eyes, you see the stars, and you’re reminded of His goodness in a time when we need it more than ever.”
The sold-out Los Angeles concert opened the second season of Worship Under The Stars, which Tomlin launched in 2025 as an annual hand-selected destination concert series. The inaugural season visited New York City’s Central Park and Baltimore’s Pier Six and concluded with a sold-out night at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
