The International Greek Food Festival is returning to Arkansas for its 40th year.
The festival will be held Oct. 2-3 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Little Rock and will include authentic Greek cuisine, live entertainment, additional vendors, a kids’ play area and more, according to a news release. Entry is free.
This year, attendees will be able to purchase physical tickets to use on food orders. The tickets will be available for pre-purchase online at the festival’s website and can be picked up in advance, according to the release.
Proceeds from this year’s festival will benefit the Annunciation Scholarship Foundation, Annunciation Ministries, Youth Home and Ronald McDonald House Arkansas & North Louisiana.
Jason Alley, the festival’s chairperson, said in the release that the festival is “more than just an event, it’s a tradition.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to enjoy everything that makes this festival so special,” he said.
Since its founding, the festival has donated more than $1.6 million to local charities and nonprofits, according to the release.
