Nick The Greek announced that its Santa Clarita location at Skyline Ranch Plaza will open this month.
A few months ago, a Nick The Greek restaurant was set to open a new location in Santa Clarita. At Skyline Ranch Plaza, Nick The Greek established its new spot, replacing the previous Fire Island Grill location.
Fire Island Grill abruptly closed its Santa Clarita location on October 16 of last year due to “economic circumstances.” Santa Clarita residents mourned the immense loss of the grill, noting the delicious tropical-infused dishes.
Now Nick the Greek has filled the void in the plaza, promising a wide variety of Greek street food, including gyros, bowls, salads, desserts, and more.
With a few delays in its opening, Nick the Greek has officially announced their grand opening for September 8 with an incentive you can’t miss.
“To celebrate the new location, the restaurant is offering free lunch for the community from 11 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.! All guests in line during the event will receive one complimentary entrée per person, including options like Nick the Greek’s beloved pitas and bowls,” the statement declared.
The concept of Nick the Greek began with three cousins, all named “Nick,” in 2014. The idea erupted after a trip to Greece, with the three cousins wanting to bring Greek street food to the United States. Mostly residing in the western parts of the US, they have over 50 restaurants in California, with other locations in Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Kansas, Utah, and Missouri.
