Lviv Hosts the Greek “Panayir” Festival for the First Time

Lviv hosted the Greek culture festival “Panayir” for the first time – an event that unites Ukrainian Greeks around their unique history, family values, and spirituality

This was reported by the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi

“This is a traditional religious, public, and family holiday of the Greeks of Ukraine, which brings people together around a common history, culture, spiritual traditions, and intangible heritage,” the post states

Maksym Kozytskyi also mentioned that a record for Ukraine was set – over 600 years of continuous history of the Greek community living in our country’s territory! This indicates how deeply the history of the Greeks is woven into the history of our country
