Evangelia on the PARÉA Tour in North America, Greece, and London, Sept. 8-Nov. 5

NEW YORK – Multi-platinum Greek-American pop artist Evangelia is celebrating music, heritage and community with shows across North America, Greece, and London on the PARÉA Tour 2026 which kicks off on September 8 in Toronto, Canada.

Stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, New York, and Washington, DC, follow with Evangelia then returning to Greece for an Athens show on October 4 before heading back to the U.S. for shows in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, and Phoenix. The tour concludes in London, UK, on November 5.

For Evangelia, the North American leg is also a homecoming. Raised between Crete and New Jersey, she is a product of the Greek-American community, growing up singing in church, participating in GOYA and deeply involved in the Pancretan Association of America, where her father served as Cultural Chair and later President. These communities gave Evangelia some of her earliest opportunities to perform and played an important role in shaping her connection to her Greek heritage.

In the spirit of ‘paréa’, select local artists from the communities Evangelia visits will also be featured throughout the tour, bringing each city into the show and spotlighting the next generation of talent.

At its heart, the PARÉA Tour is a celebration of Evangelia’s Greek and Greek-American roots and the communities that have shaped her, while opening the circle to everyone. Designed as an all-ages experience, the tour is an invitation for fans, friends and families across generations to celebrate where we come from, welcome new people into the paréa, and create new memories together through music.

Evangelia spoke with The National Herald about the tour, connecting with fans, what inspires her and keeps her grounded during a tour, and what she’s working on next.

TNH: How long did it take to organize this latest tour and how did you decide which cities to include?

Evangelia: This tour has been in the works for several months, and there are so many moving pieces that go into putting something like this together. When choosing the cities, we looked at a combination of where we have strong Greek and Greek-American communities, where we’ve seen my audience growing, and what made sense logistically for this first run of the PARÉA Tour.

At the heart of the tour is the spirit of ‘paréa’, creating a space where people can connect, celebrate and experience the music together. There are so many other cities I’d love to visit, so I really see this as just the beginning!

TNH: What can fans look forward to in this tour?

Evangelia: Fans can expect a show that takes them through the different chapters of my music! I’ll be performing songs from across my career, from some of my earliest releases to my album ‘Peproméno’, which came out last year, and, of course, my latest singles, ‘Paréa’ and ‘Éna Neró’.

The show unfolds in different acts inspired by Greek cinema, with new arrangements, choreography and a few surprises I don’t want to give away! At the heart of it all is PARÉA, bringing people together through music and creating that feeling of community wherever we go. I want everyone to sing, dance, and feel like they’re part of the show with me!

TNH: What are you looking forward to the most during the tour?

Evangelia: I’m most looking forward to connecting with everyone in person! So much of being an artist today happens through a screen, from releasing music to seeing comments, streams, and messages. There’s nothing like actually being in a room together and hearing people sing the songs back to you.

I’m also really excited to reconnect with the Greek diaspora and meet people from all the different communities we’re visiting. Growing up between New Jersey and summers in Crete has shaped so much of who I am, so getting to share this music with people who understand that connection to Greece, as well as people discovering it for the first time, is really special to me!

TNH: What inspires you when you’re on the road?

Evangelia: I think being on the road naturally inspires me because I’m constantly experiencing something new. Every city has its own energy, and I love meeting people, hearing their stories and seeing the different ways they connect with the music.

Travel has always been a big source of inspiration for me creatively, too. New places, sounds, conversations, and even little moments along the way tend to find their way into my writing. I’m always taking things in, so I usually come home from a tour with a lot of new ideas.

TNH: How do you stay grounded?

Evangelia: My family and the people closest to me keep me grounded. I’m also really lucky that my fiancé, Jay, will be on the road with me! He’s my rock, and this tour is especially exciting because he’ll not only be part of my band on stage, but he’ll also be opening the shows with his own music.

I also try to hold onto little pieces of my normal routine while I’m touring, getting enough rest, moving my body, and finding quiet moments whenever I can. Touring can be such a whirlwind, so having someone I love beside me, staying connected to family, and finding small ways to reset really helps me stay present and enjoy it all.

TNH: What are you working on next?

Evangelia: I’ve been writing a lot of new music lately, and I’m really excited about where it’s heading! I recently spent some time writing in Greece with collaborators I’ve made some of my earliest music with, as well as some new ones, and it feels like I’m entering a really exciting new chapter creatively.

There are also a few collaborations in the works that I can’t share too much about yet! For now, my focus is on the PARÉA Tour, but I’m excited to keep creating along the way and share a lot more new music after the tour!
