The Greek league’s sports judge announced penalties stemming from serious incidents during the fifth Greek Basketball League (GBL) final between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.
A confrontation involving Kendrick Nunn and Tyrique Jones in the corridor to the locker rooms led to major sanctions. Jones received a seven-game suspension and fines totaling €54,000 after being found guilty of insulting conduct and attempted violence, with a repeat offense cited. Nunn was suspended for two games and fined €4,000 for insulting conduct.
Both clubs were fined €100,000 and will begin the 2026-27 season with two-point deductions. Several other charges were dismissed in the rulings issued after the championship finale.
