NEPENTHE, the Athens-based open-air electronic music event series, returns on May 10 with its first sunset event at the Panoramic Steps of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

Launched in 2022, NEPENTHE has built a following through electronic music events staged at architecturally distinctive urban locations across Athens, combining melodic house, techno and afro house music with open-air settings and immersive production.

Its latest edition, titled “PANORAMA”, takes its name from the panoramic views of the Athenian skyline and the Saronic Gulf offered by the SNFCC venue. According to the organizers, the event marks the first time the Panoramic Steps will host an electronic music event of this scale.

Designed by internationally acclaimed architect Renzo Piano, the SNFCC has become one of Athens’ landmark cultural destinations and a prominent venue for large-scale public events.

Scheduled to run from 5pm to 11pm, NEPENTHE PANORAMA will feature a line-up led by Greek electronic music producer Echonomist and Fiona Kraft.

Echonomist – the stage name of Petros Manganaris – is among Greece’s best-known electronic music artists internationally, with releases on labels including Innervisions, Afterlife and Kompakt. His work has received support from artists such as Dixon, Âme and Tale Of Us.

Joining him is Fiona Kraft, founder of NON MERCI MUSIC, who has performed at venues and festivals including Fabric London, Watergate Berlin, Hi Ibiza and Ultra Music Festival South Africa.

The line-up also includes BRB, creator of the NEPENTHE concept, alongside Evanjelia and Athens-based producer Pablo Nuevo.
