■ An Israeli soldier was killed in southern Lebanon, the Israeli military. The soldier, Nineteen-year-old Liem Ben Hamo, was killed by an explosive drone.
■ Iran’s supreme leader said that the Islamic Republic will protect its “nuclear and missile capabilities” as a national asset, even as U.S. President Donald Trump tries to get a deal on those issues.
■ Any U.S. attack on Iran, even if limited, will usher in “long and painful strikes” on U.S. regional positions, a senior Revolutionary Guards official was quoted by state media as saying.

■ British Prime Minister Keir Starmer addressed the nation following the antisemitic stabbing attack in London’s Golders Green, in which two Jewish men were wounded, calling to prosecute people who chant “Globalize the Intifada.”
