After starting our Greek island series in Paros, we made our way to island number two, Naxos.
With only a short amount of time, we focused on the essentials: wandering the old town, relaxing on the beaches, visiting mountain villages, and trying some of the best food we’ve had in Greece so far.

Naxos was by far my favorite island when i went to Greece
Not the palm trees, but Venetian culture was the main influence. If we compare this island with others in Greece, the differences are obvious. Here, you can find better-preserved towns, characterized by a medieval feel. But there are also influences from the Ottoman and Byzantine eras. These are depicted on many properties, monuments and public buildings.
So good to see, bit of escapism for us in the middle of winter here ☃️

A jelous girl in my high tought me a big life lesson. Exactly how you describe it. Reputation destruction. Scarred me a bit, but made me tougher and even more empathetic. All I feel for her is pity, because I know she must be so insecure to pick on me. Everytime I see her (once in 10 years) I pretend like I’m happy to see her out of spite. It baffels her, and makes her confused to see me again, still more prettier, smarter and succesful then her 😂
i visit Naxos twice a year in June for two weeks and October for a week, this October was the first time I've seen rain and worn trousers and a warm top in the evenings, its normally very warm. however the sea was still warm in October as always. we must have been there at the same time as after i left the sun came out again for the rest of the month . its a real shame as you didn't get to experience the best beaches in Greece at Agios Prokopios, Agia Anna and Plaka
