The countdown has begun for the arrival of Nikos Oikonomopoulos in Australia, with the hugely popular Greek singer preparing to reconnect with the Greek Australian community across three major concerts.
As part of his “20 Year Anniversary Tour”, Oikonomopoulos is travelling to Australia to celebrate two decades of success in Greek music with his Australian fans.
The tour will take him to Adelaide, Sydney and Melbourne, giving audiences the opportunity to see live one of the most popular performers in contemporary Greek laïko music.

The Australian leg begins on Friday 30 October at Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide.
The following night, Saturday 31 October, Oikonomopoulos will perform at Sydney Lyric, before concluding the Australian tour in Melbourne on Monday 2 November at Festival Hall.
Oikonomopoulos, who has spoken publicly on numerous occasions about his faith in God, has now completed two decades in the music industry, building a large and devoted following along the way.

Songs that have become favourites in Greek nightclubs and among Greek diaspora communities around the world are expected to feature prominently in the live program.
The three Australian concerts will mark the singer’s return to the country as he celebrates the milestone anniversary of a career that has made him one of the most recognisable voices in contemporary Greek popular music.
