Sydney’s Greek community is invited to come together for an evening of food, live music and dancing as the Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney & NSW hosts its ‘Let’s Go Lesvos 2026 – Tavernaki Night’.
Taking place on Friday, August 21, the event will bring the atmosphere of a traditional Greek taverna to the Mytilenian House in Canterbury.
Guests will be treated to a Greek feast featuring chicken and pork kontosouvli, Greek salad, tzatziki, tyropitakia, bekri meze, calamari, chips and bread, with meat platters included in the ticket price.
Live entertainment will be provided by Kalispera Live Entertainment, featuring Peter Kokkinis, Stelios Daliardos, Perry Tsepetzis and Steve Katselas.
The evening is designed to bring families and friends together for a celebration of Greek food, music, dancing and community spirit.
‘Let’s Go Lesvos 2026 – Tavernaki Night’ will run from 6.30pm to 11pm at the Mytilenian House, 225 Canterbury Road, Canterbury.
Tickets are $60 for adults and $30 for children aged five to 12, while children under five can attend free of charge. Drinks will be available for purchase.
