Greek singer Evelina Katsiakou has turned the bridal look into a gateway to tell a Greek summer music story in her song “Summer Medley 2026”.
The vocalist, who reached the semi-finals of Mega’s X-Factor, released a music video for her song “Summer Medley” wherein she wears a bridal gown.
The costume of choice sees the singer play the role of the bride as a playful summer figure rather than acting for an actual wedding.
The song brings together “Kampanes”, the traditional “Chorepsete Chorepsete” and “Sousta”, with violin, lute and dance the primary elements on show as part of the song celebrating Greek summer and musical tradition.
The music video mixes together the singer’s striking presence, the bridal gown, the sea, dance and Greek summer light to visually tell its story of a summer medley.
The video is directed by George Koutsogeorgakis, and features Giannis Bousoulas.
