EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Greek food, music, dancing and decades of tradition will come together this September as St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church welcomes the community back for El Paso’s Original Greek Fest.
The 2026 festival is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 20, at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 124 S. Festival Drive in El Paso.
The annual event has been bringing local families together for more than three decades with a celebration of Greek culture and heritage.
Food will once again be one of the main attractions. Festivalgoers can enjoy authentic Greek favorites including gyros, souvlakia, dolmathes and spanakopita. The event will also feature live Greek music, traditional folk dance performances by the Odyssey Dancers and an Agora Marketplace offering Greek imports.
Organizers are also introducing a new option for 2026: the Doro Pre-Sale Ticket. “Doro,” meaning “gift” in Greek, costs $20 and includes free admission along with 20 festival tickets that can be redeemed for food and drinks.
The three-day festival begins from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18. Festivities continue from noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, before wrapping up from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 20.
General admission is $5 for adults, while children younger than 12 are admitted free. Active-duty military members, firefighters, police officers and first responders with identification can enter for a discounted admission price of $3.
In addition to the food and entertainment, the festival offers El Pasoans an opportunity to experience Greek traditions and the community surrounding St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Organizers describe Greek Fest as a longstanding celebration designed to share the history, culture and joy of the community with the Borderland.
