Greek Festival Returns September 11-13 With Food, Music, Dancing and More

The annual Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Festival is returning to Silver Spring from Friday, September 11 through Sunday, September 13, bringing three days of authentic Greek food, live entertainment, cultural performances, shopping, and family-friendly fun.

The festival will take place at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, located at 721 Norwood Road in Silver Spring. Admission and parking are free, and the event will be held rain or shine. Festival hours are:

  • Friday, September 11: 4pm to 9pm
  • Saturday, September 12: 11am to 9pm
  • Sunday, September 13: 11am to 7pm

Guests can enjoy a wide variety of authentic Greek cuisine, homemade pastries and desserts, live music, traditional Greek dance performances, and vendors throughout the weekend.

Returning attractions include The Big Greek Café Gyro Eating Contest on Saturday and NFL Sunday Kickoff in the main tent on Sunday. Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLA or $30,000 in cash. Tickets are $100 each, with only 1,000 tickets available. The drawing will be held on Sunday, September 13.

Those who would rather enjoy the food at home can place carryout orders online during festival hours. A portion of the festival’s proceeds will benefit Bethesda Cares, helping support efforts to prevent and end homelessness in Montgomery County.
