Lietuva, although small in demographics, is a Giant in world basketball. It's not only about the players you produced over the years, it's about creating your own "basketball school of thought". The future is bright for the Lithuanian team. As for my team….. 1/5 OPEN 3 pointers at the end of the match was disappointing, they could finish the game 4 minutes earlier. If Mitoglou doesn't step up in the next game, we will lose. Turkey is the UNDISPUTED favourite in the semifinal.
I am not sure Giannis shooting free throws is an advantage…

I know Lithuania is a basketball nation…more so than Greece (Greek fan here). Nation that produced the greatest basketball phenomenon in the 80 with Sabas. (What if he had gone to NBA in his prime!!!!)
Anyway you can be proud of your team – after all you had huge absences and injuries, and still you were in the game till the end but it was clear Greece was the better team. Even with Giannis not at his 100%, the rest of the Greek team stepped up – 100% agree with you about the role players. And the Greek defence was very strong all around.
Lithuania has nothing to worry about, will be in top spots in every tournament going fwd.
All semifinals are 50-50. It s an open game.
Spanoulis sacrificed Mitoglou in first half. Second half made the right moves and destroyed Lithouanian plays. Toliopoulos step up when things got tough.
