Sani Festival will return to Halkidiki this summer with a six-week programme of international and Greek music on Sani Hill, adding a cultural draw to northern Greece’s summer calendar.
The 2026 edition will run from 11 July to 15 August at Sani Resort, on the Kassandra peninsula, about an hour’s drive from Thessaloniki. The festival, rooted in jazz but now open to a wide variety of musical acts, including pop, rock, classical and indie, is Greece’s first sustainable music festival. Organisers say it is carbon-neutral, powered by 100% renewable electricity, and run in line with the ISO 20121 sustainable event management standard.
The programme opens on 11 July with Robert Plant, the former Led Zeppelin singer, performing with Saving Grace and Suzi Dian. The concert will draw on songs from the band’s debut album, alongside reimagined classics from Plant’s back catalogue, in an evening shaped by blues and folk influences.
On 18 July, British singer-songwriter James Arthur will perform at Sani Hill following the release of his latest album, Pisces. The set will include songs from across his career, including Impossible, Can I Be Him and Say You Won’t Let Go.
The following week, on 25 July, the focus turns to Greek music, with Dimitra Galani, Eleni Tsaligopoulou and the Estudiantina Neas Ionias Orchestra sharing the stage. The concert celebrates major Greek performers, with Galani drawing on her long career, Tsaligopoulou performing well-known hits, and the orchestra offering versions of traditional Greek songs under the artistic direction of Andreas Katsigiannis.
On 1 August, The Waterboys will bring their Celtic and roots-influenced sound to Halkidiki. The band, led by Scottish singer and guitarist Mike Scott since the 1980s, is expected to perform both older material and songs from Life, Death And Dennis Hopper.
Soul II Soul, led by Jazzie B, will perform on 8 August. The festival highlights the British group’s Grammy-winning status and global hits such as Keep On Movin’ and Back To Life.
The season will close on 15 August with a performance by Vicky Leandros. The Greek-born singer, whose career spans six decades, will perform a repertoire of international hits and timeless melodies.
