Rochester Greek Festival returns to East Ave.

WROC Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Rochester Greek Festival is back!

You can get a taste of traditional food, listen to music, and watch plenty of dancing. Vendors are selling clothing and trinkets imported from Greece—all to celebrate the culture’s history and heritage.

“I love hearing that people come back year after year. It’s really special to know that we kind of hold a space in people’s hearts in our community, and they come to enjoy and have fun with their family and friends.” said John Vangellow, a Co-Chairman of Greek Festival.

Proceeds from the festival support the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, the event’s home at 962 East Avenue.

The festival runs through Sunday, May 30.
