Following in its prequel game’s footsteps, Hades 2 has opted to use a rather obscure deity, Melinoe, as its protagonist. Melinoe is generally known to be the goddess of ghosts and nightmares, a deity that mortals tend to shy away from or outright fear.
Much like the myth of Zagreus is loosely interpreted in the original Hades, Melinoe’s origin is also loosely interpreted in the sequel game Hades 2. Watch until the end of the video to find out the true identity of Hades 2’s new protagonist!
