2024 Eurovision artists

🇦🇲 Ladaniva – “Yasaman”

Armenia’s 2024 participants Ladaniva have released the first single form their upcoming new album. “Yasaman” combines the traditional Armenian folk-pop they are famous for, with Balkan rhythms and a Mediterranean flair. It’s a great first single and sets the scene for the new album coming later this year. Fans of theirs will know the track “Shakar” from their debut album, and “Yasaman” is, to me, a perfect mix of “Shakar” and their Eurovision entry “Jako”. Very excited to see what Ladaniva have in store in the near future!

🇲🇹 Sarah Bonnici – “something i had to lose”

🇦🇿 İlkin Dövlətov – “İncəbellim”

İlkin Dövlətov accompanied Fahree on the song “Özünlə apar” for Azerbaijan at the Contest in Malmö. The pair failed to qualify from the first semi-final of the contest, but both have gone on to have relative success within Azerbaijan independently of each other. “İncəbellim” is the latest single from İlkin, and combines the Azeri folk from “Özünlə apar” with a doom metal sound.

Previous Eurovision artists

🇨🇭Céline Dion – “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci”

Eurovision winner Céline Dion is back with a new single. The Canadian songstress, who won the Contest in 1988 for Switzerland with “Ne partez pas sans moi”, has released her new song. “Bonjour, Pardon, Merci” is a classic Français, Dion power ballad, with the standard of vocals we’ve come to expect from the singer. Céline currently remains the most recent Eurovision winner to perform entirely in French, and was reportedly due to make an appearance at the 2025 edition of the Contest held in Basel. With the news of Canada’s debut in the Eurovision Song Contest also coming this week, could we see an appearance from Céline in some form in an upcoming contest?

🇬🇷 Helena Paparizou – “Alitheia Tora”

Greek Eurovision 2005 winner, and 2014 Melodifestivalen finalist Helena Paparizou is back with a new single. “Alitheia Tora” (Seriously Now) is an uptempo, disco-pop track, performed in greek. The song feels retro inspired, while still being relevant and current in today’s music climate. Helena teased on her instagram that this isn’t the last we will hear of her anytime soon, with more new music appearing to be on the way.

🇩🇪 Cacscada – “YOUtopia”

Cascada represented Germany at the 2013 Song Contest in Malmö, Sweden, with the underrated bop “Glorious”. While the group, led by singer Natalie Horler, are most known for big dance tracks of the early 00s and 10s such as “Everytime We Touch” and “Evacuate The Dancefloor”, they have consistently released new eurodance, club records in recent years. “YOUtopia” is no different. It’s big, its camp, its high energy, its eurodance. It is exactly what you want a Cascada record to sound like in 2026. Don’t overthink it, and if you like this type of music, you’ll love it.

🇪🇸 Chanel – “UNOxUNO”

Chanel Terrero became a memorable eurofan favourite when she placed 3rd with “SloMo” in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Turin in 2022. Having been a regular feature, performing at both Eurovision and Benidormfest in interval shows since then, Chanel has had a string of hits across Europe, blending dance, hip-hop and traditional Spanish flair. Latest single “UNOxUNO” is every bit as infectious as “SloMo” and her following releases, like 2022 hit “TOKE”. If you are already a fan of Chanel, you’ll love this.

🇧🇦 Hari Mata Hari – “Janje”

Hari Mata Hari gave Bosnia & Herzegovina their best ever placement at Eurovision with the song “Lejla” in 2006, placing third. New single “Janje” is a collaboration between Hari, lead singer of the band, and Mirza Selimović who is a regularly discussed name amongst fans of a possible Bosnia & Herzegovina return to the Contest. The new single from the pair is in a similar style to the 2006 hit, delivering absolute ‘Balkan Ballad’ status.

🇧🇪 Kate Ryan – Ella Elle L’a

Dutch electronic dance music pioneers Showtek have reinvented Eurovision 2006 participant Kate Ryan’s song “Ella Elle L’a” into a modern dance track. Kate Ryan only just missed out on a place in the Eurovision Grand Final in Athens with her song “Je t’adore” for Belgium, but she has gone on to have huge success in francophone Europe. Kate was already a well known name in musique Français, but her string of hits in the 00s and 10s solidified her as an icon of French language music. Showtek have taken her 2008 hit “Ella Elle L’a” and given it new life, almost 20 years after its original release.

🇧🇬 Kristian Kostov – “Shh!”

Fresh from performing in the 70th anniversary of Eurovision interval act in the Grand Final in Vienna, Bulgaria’s Kristian Kostov releases his next single “Shh!”. The new track is written by Kostov, in collaboration with Alma Dowdall – who has worked with Eurovision 2026 winner DARA on many projects – alongside Valeria Stoyanova and Kamen Kolev. It is a sexy, dark-pop inspired song, and is the second track Kristian Kostov has released under his new alias ‘Kian’. Kristian explains he plans to release future music projects under his own name, under the Kian alias, as well as releasing collaborations between the two names, as has happened with “Shh!”. Eurofans need no reminding of Kostov’s talents, after all he holds the record for scoring the most points in the Grand Final but not actually taking the win, with his 2nd placed song “Beautiful Mess” in 2017. This new era for Kristian Kostov is exciting!

🇵🇱 Ochman – “Zostaw mnie dla siebie”

Poland’s 2022 Eurovision participant has teamed up with regular collaborator Wszystko Dobrze on new single “Zostaw mnie dla siebie” (Leave Me For Yourself). Unlike his 2022 song “River”, most of Ochman’s back catalogue is sung in Polish and this is no exception. The track contains beautifully haunting vocals alongside rap and a trappy, electropop beat which makes for an interesting listen. Ochman has said that the track opens the door to a new era for the singer and it is certainly a new era we are intrigued by!

🇧🇬 Orlin Pavlov – “Caм”

Orlin Pavlov gained prominence in Bulgaria when he became the lead singer of band Kaffe, who were the first Eurovision entry to represent Bulgaria with the song “Lorraine” in 2005. Pavlov now performs as a solo artist, and new single “Caм” mixes dark vocals with club/dance beats.

🇦🇹 PÆNDA – “Pumped”

Austria’s Eurovision 2019 participant PÆNDA teams up with Rene Rodrigezz and Monkeekid for energetic, club dance record “Pumped”. PÆNDA’s Eurovision entry “Limits” failed to qualify for the Grand Final in 2019, but found new life in Austrian clubs with various big remixes. “Pumped” is wildly different to the original “Limits”, but intriguing nevertheless.

🇸🇪 Sanna Nielsen – “Heaven Is A Place On Earth”

🇬🇷 Stefania – “Do You Want It Right Now”

Stefania has an interesting history with both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision. Originally representing The Netherlands at Junior Eurovision with the girl group Kisses in 2016, she was selected to participate in the 2020 contest for Greece with “Supergirl”. When the contest was cancelled due to covid, she was re-selected as Greece’s 2021 participant with her entry “Last Dance” which finished in 10th place at the Contest in Rotterdam. Her new single “Do You Want It Right Now” is a big, eurodance, club banger. It’s a vibe!

🇮🇸 Svala – “TIL Í ÞIG”

Iceland’s 2017 Eurovision participant Svala features on rapper Daniel Alvin’s newest single “TIL Í ÞIG”. The song is an old school hip-hop track, and Svala’s pop vocals complement Alvin’s. The track scratches that itch of 2010s trap / hip-hop and is a different vibe to her 2017 Eurovision entry “Paper”.
