Ukraine will select a representative for Eurovision 2025 through its national final, Vidbir, as always. For the past two years, Dmytro Shurov has been the music producer of the national final, and the one supporting the choice of TVORCHI and alyona alyona & Jerry Heil. This year, however, this position is changing hands. Led by Tina Karol, song submissions for the most successful Eurovision country in recent years open next week.
More specifically, Suspilne Ukraine announced that singer Tina Karol, who represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2006, will be the music producer of Vidbir 2025. The application window will open next week, along with the announcement of new details about the conditions of participation and the selection process.
I am excited to join the national final team and support both new talent and returning artists. I’m sure we’ll see a lot of talented artists this year, which we’ll make sure to showcase in the best possible way. See you at Vidbir 2025!
Tina Karol’s first statements
Vidbir 2025 will be led by the experienced Tina Karol, who was a judge in Vidbir 2020 and 2022. However, a honorable mention should also be attributed of the man who was before her in this position, Dmytro Shurov.

Together, we are proud of TVORCHI’s 6th place in Eurovision 2023 in Liverpool and the outstanding success of alyona alyona & Jerry Heil, who won 3rd place in Malmö, Sweden in 2024.
This year, we are thrilled to have Tina Karol on our team. As one of Ukraine’s most well-known artists, she brings a lot of experience in producing and supporting new talents. Her own Eurovision experience gives her deep knowledge of the competition and her expertise and musical intuition will help us select an artist who will proudly represent Ukraine on the international stage.
