MASSACHUSETTS – If you aren’t aware, National Burger Day is on Thursday, May 28, and to celebrate, The National Herald has done a round up of three Greek-owned spots that reportedly have some of the best burgers that you need to try.
MEZŌ Mediterranean
Located at 551 High Street in Dedham, MA, MEZŌ Mediterranean is a Mediterranean restaurant rooted in Greek culinary traditions.
MEZŌ brings a Mediterranean twist to a classic comfort food with its new handheld ‘MEZŌ Greek Burger’. Served on a soft brioche bun, the burger is layered with cool, homemade tzatziki, sharp feta cheese, crisp red onion and Greek feta-tossed fries – delivering a bright, tangy contrast to the rich, savory patty.
At $15.50, it’s a flavorful, Greek-inspired take that balances indulgence with freshness in every bite.

Dedham House of Pizza (DHOP) is an independent, family-owned pizzeria located in the heart of the historic Dedham Square, at 376 Washington Street, which has been serving the local community for over 50 years. It offers an array of New England Greek pan-style pizza prepared with daily-made, in-house dough, calzones, subs, roll-ups, pastas, salads, beer, wine, desserts and more.

To celebrate National Burger Day, guests can dig into Dedham House of Pizza’s wide range of burger options: DHOP Burger for $7, Cheeseburger for $7.50, Burger and Cheeseburger Subs available in small and large sizes, the loaded Cheeseburger Club stacked with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, a Cheeseburger Plate served with fries and a perfectly melted American cheese-topped patty on a bun ($11), and pizzas including the Dedham Special Pizza piled high with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, hamburger, mushrooms, onions, peppers, black olives, pizza sauce and cheese, or the Meat lovers Pizza featuring an array of meats.
