Ixion – Greek Mythology:
The son of Ares and Perimele, Ixion was the king of the Lapiths in Greek mythology. He was Deioneus’ daughter Dia’s spouse, and he promised her a gift as a bride price. But when he ultimately failed to provide anything for his father-in-law, Deioneus made the decision to avenge him by robbing him of some of his horses. Ixion was furious, but he decided to take matters into his own hands by planning a feast and inviting his father-in-law. Ixion shoved Deioneus onto the hot coals as he came, killing him and obviously breaking both the guest-host and kinslaying regulations.

Ixion lived as an outcast after his deed, no longer being accepted in any community. Later, Zeus decided to invite him to Olympus out of compassion for him. But even there, Ixion developed a fondness for Hera, and when Zeus noticed it, he duped him by fashioning a cloud named Nephele that resembled Hera. Ixion had a sexual relationship with the cloud, and as a result, Centauros, the first of the Centaurs, was born. Zeus even threw a thunderbolt at him after being expelled from Olympus. Then Hermes chained him to an eternally spinning fiery winged wheel.
