Kicking off this May, the beloved annual celebration is set to grace the city with an incredible lineup of cultural performances, legendary cuisine, and high-energy festivities.
For 27 years, Houstonians have gathered at the Saint Basil the Great Greek Orthodox Church to honor Hellenic heritage. This all-ages event offers a perfect escape for families, couples, and solo explorers looking to experience the warmth of Greek hospitality right in Houston.
Houston Greek Fest 2026
The 2026 Houston Greek festival runs from Thursday, May 14, through Saturday, May 16. Over the course of three days, the festival will feature a range of traditional performances including the folk dancers, a live Greek band on Friday and Saturday, and more.
Furthermore, the festival will feature a special Santorini Market, where visitors can sift through an array of Greek gems, from jewelry to literature, clothing, cookbooks, and more.
For the kiddos, the festival will reprise its bubble machine, carnival rides and games, and a giant inflatable slide.
The Spread at Houston Greek Fest
Come hungry, because the 2026 menu is a curated journey through Greece’s best flavors. You can dive into savory staples like pork souvlaki and gyros before heading to the dessert booth for world-famous baklava and loukoumades—those irresistible Greek honey puffs topped with syrup and cinnamon.
To wash it all down, the festival offers a premium selection of Greek coffee, beer, and wine, alongside soft drinks and pizza for the little ones.
Beyond the food and music, visitors are invited to step inside the stunning Saint Basil the Great cathedral. Guided church tours will be held throughout the weekend.

The 2026 Houston Greek Fest will take place at 1100 Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77077 from May 14 – May 16, 2026. The event will open from 4 pm – 9 pm on May 14. On Friday and Saturday of the event, the festival will run from 10 am – 10 pm. The Greek festival in Houston is completely cashless, so be prepared to flash that card of yours.
