RTL, the Luxembourgish national broadcaster, has announced that the Luxembourg Song Contest 2025 will take place on January 25.
Luxembourg Song Contest will take place in Rockhal in Esch-sur-Alzette and the information so far indicates that its second edition will maintain last year’s format, with the contestants performing their entries, live, trying to win both the votes of the international judges and those of the television audience, in order to claim the coveted ticket to Basel.
The closing date for submission of entries is October 6, 2024, and soon after a special professional jury will be responsible for selecting the songs to compete.
Luxembourg returned to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2024 after an absence of 31 years. TALI traveled to Malmö with “Fighter” in her luggage to finish 13th in the Grand Final with 103 points.
