Local Living: Greek Festival, Foodees Food and Culture Festival, Cayce Police’s Fiesta, Keep the Midlands Beautiful

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, don’t miss Columbia’s annual Greek Festival next week.

The event features music, food, vendors, and more.

The festival runs from September 19, through September 22, at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral on Sumter Street.

 

The Foodees Food and Culture Festival is coming to Sumter next month.

The festival will bring culinary delights, unique crafts, and family-friendly entertainment.

It takes place October 4, through October 6, at the American Legion Fairgrounds.

Admission is free but you must register in advance.

 

Cayce Police are hosting a “Fiesta” next weekend.

You can enjoy free food, music, crafts, and more.

You will also have a chance to meet Cayce Police officers and other local law enforcement agencies.

The event takes place on Saturday, September 21, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Granby Gardens Park.

 

Keep the Midlands Beautiful is looking for volunteers to help clean up the trash on Lake Murray.

The Lake Murray Sweep starts on Saturday, September 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Supplies, t-shirts, and prizes will be provided.
