Traffic around the Panathenaic Stadium was temporarily halted earlier in the afternoon in anticipation of the large crowds. In attendance were high-profile figures, including President of the Republic Katerina Sakellaropoulou and Minister of Culture Lina Mendoni, reflecting the national significance of the event.

The concert not only celebrated Papadopoulos’ profound influence on Greek music but also had a philanthropic purpose. The proceeds from the event will be used to purchase seedlings and fund environmental protection initiatives, reinforcing the concert’s dual mission of honoring Greek culture and supporting ecological sustainability.
