When asked about continuing the story, she revealed, “I think anything is possible. My dream was to do three seasons. I have a lot of ideas, and I know exactly what I want to do with them.”
Covell made it clear that while the first season was designed to stand on its own, she hopes there’s room for more. “I didn’t want to end on a total cliffhanger,” she explained. “I hope that season 1 feels complete, but that it leaves room for more. Because I would absolutely love to continue this journey with the cast and crew. It’s been something of a dream come true.”
As for whether Netflix has officially greenlit a second season, Covell admitted that nothing is set in stone yet, but hinted that the streaming giant is enthusiastic about the possibility. “They’re definitely keen,” she said, leaving fans hopeful for an official announcement soon.
