The Yassou! Greek Cultural Festival, known for packing downtown Grand Rapids with Greek culture, cuisine and music each summer, announced it will not be returning in 2026.
The festival’s website has a pop-up banner saying organizers are taking a “much needed break.”
“We will be taking 2026 off, but already looking forward to eating, dancing, and being Greek with our community in 2027!” it reads.

13 ON YOUR SIDE has reached out to the festival’s organizers but have not yet heard back.
The festival first started in 2010 and aims to celebrate all things Greek culture. It features live music, dance demonstrations, cooking classes, dozens of food vendors and authentic Greek jewelry, artwork, crafts and more.
