ERT just announced exciting news as the Greek national final is making a comeback, something fans have been eagerly awaiting for years! The selection for Greece’s representative at Eurovision 2025 in Basel will be decided through a televised competition.

The managing director of ERT , Katerina Kaskanioti, recently announced at the presentation of ERT’s program, at the Athens Conservatory, that the artist and the song that will represent Greece at Eurovision 2025 will be selected through a national final, with an open invitation to all those who wish to participate in it. This means that hopeful performers do not need a record label as a backing.

This year, for the first time in 22 years, the national final returns, with an open invitation to all those who are interested . The selection of the artist and the song, which will represent us in May at Eurovision, will be done through a competitive process. The representative of our country will be chosen with the participation of the public in the voting. The details of the process will be known in the coming days.
