Giannis Antetokounmpo and Thanasis Antetokounmpo are set to travel to Thessaloniki this weekend to back their brother Kostas as he takes part in a crucial matchup in the 2025-26 Stoiximan GBL Regular Season.
“Richard Xiao, Giannis, and Thanasis Antetokounmpo will attend the Aris – Panionios match on Saturday afternoon at the Alexandrio,” Sports24’s Harris Stavrou wrote in Greek in his post on X (formerly Twitter).

Giannis and Thanasis who recently wrapped up their NBA campaign with the Milwaukee Bucks, will be in attendance for the matchup against Panionios Cosmorama Travel. The game will take place at the historic Nick Galis Hall, also known as Palais de Sports or Alexandreio Melathron, on Saturday.
Giannis Antetokounmpo’s season with the Bucks

The Greek Freak once again delivered an impressive individual season, although he appeared in only 36 games he averaged 27.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 5.4 assists per contest, along with shooting 62.4% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range.
Despite injuries limiting his 2025-26 campaign, he remains one of the game’s central figures, although his focus this weekend shifts away from the spotlight and toward supporting his family.

Thanasis saw limited action this season, taking part in 34 games while putting up 1.4 points per outing across just 4.4 minutes on the floor.
As Kostas Antetokounmpo, the first Greek-born player to capture an NBA championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020, steps onto the floor, the appearance of the title-winning brothers once again underscores the lasting bond their family holds with basketball in Greece.
