Experience vibrant Greek culture at Austin’s 5th Annual Memorial Day Greek Festival


It’s time once again to mark your calendars for the 5th ANNUAL AUSTIN GREEK FESTIVAL, Memorial Day weekend, May 24th – May 26th. Come experience Greek hospitality known around the world! The spirit of Greece will emerge in the Austin community with delectable Greek food and drink, dancing, live entertainment, shopping and more. Livin’ the Greek Life is coming alive in Austin! OPA!

Enjoy Lamb, Spanakopita, Gyros, Souvlaki, Saganaki, Baklava and Greek beer and wine. In keeping with Austin’s reputation as the Live Music Capital, an authentic Greek band will be traveling in from Greece to bring a fun and lively party environment for all! Entertainment will include performances by professional Greek dancers, as well as our local dance troupes from Transfiguration Greek Orthodox Church. More importantly, we invite the audience to participate!

In addition to food and entertainment, there is something for everyone to enjoy including kid-friendly activities, Greek dance lessons, shopping for Greek souvenirs, or simply taking in a breathtaking view of Austin and the Hill Country from the Church’s breezy hilltop.

Interactive church tours provide an opportunity to experience the love, fullness, and authentic beauty of the Orthodox faith. Behold the stunning Byzantine art and iconography while learning about the long and historical path of the Orthodox religion.

The hours for the event are Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25h, 11am – 10pm; Sunday, May 26th 12pm – 10pm. Admission is $5 and is free for children 10 and under, Military and First Responders with ID. Parking is free. Check it out at www.AustinGreekFestival.com
